So I'm not sure about the details of what they should do, but I like the idea of Apollo finding a reason to want to learn more about Phoenix's past and the complications that could arise from that. Maybe at one point he picks up another case, though I'm not sure about it being another big murder case, thought getting Phoenix to somehow tag along during an investigation might be fun.

That sounds like fun to me. I would like to do more with Apollo and Phoenix's past. That could certainly be interesting, and I'd love to have them getting to know each other better. Do you think it could be the case itself that deals with Phoenix's past, or should the two things remain separate? Being thrown in to some difficult situation together might get them closer, but I'd be up for more lighthearted/silly things as well. They could always have some other kind of adventure, like going on a trip together.
And Phoenix would make a great assistant, obviously.
Also, sorry for my slowness, I've been having some technical difficulties.

If they haven't established any sort of relationship by then, maybe something like a trip could seal the deal? Winding down from a case and such and finally letting loose.
And it's all good! I expect to run into a lot of slowness later this week since I have exams coming up.

I'm too sleepy at the moment to formulate clear ideas. I'll have to think about it more, but I do like the idea that something maybe peripherally related gets Apollo interested in the past. Phoenix likes to be mysterious, so I'm sure there's a lot for Apollo to get curious about. I do enjoy awkwardness and roadblocks and the like. Apollo could always read up about Phoenix's old cases in the court reports, which would tell him a lot.
Trips can be a good way to cement things, I think.
And of course, there's always Phoenix studying to take the bar again, which could be fun to do something with.

I like the idea of him reading about Phoenix's old cases! I imagine that Apollo's already read them already being a fanboy and all, but maybe after clearing up paper work from their last case, his interest in Nick's old cases would be revived. Especially after all that stuff Nick gathered for mason system haha. Knowing Nick in person now would probably get Apollo asking questions. Awkwardness and dodging questions is encouraged!
Definitely! I don't really know where they'd want to go though, haha.
That would be interesting too! If Nick end up procrastinating or something, or maybe Apollo just plain old bugging him as he studies as payback.

Phoenix would certainly try to dodge all this talk, if he could. He has
Hm maybe the road trip is something they have to do, involving an errand or a visit or something?
Phoenix would definitely procrastinate. You know how he hates reading law books. Although he would definitely try and keep his procrastinating and his studying itself a secret. But Apollo could find out about it!

That sounds good! I'm tempted to make it all related in one big case, haha. But if we want to keep things simple, they could be doing an errand for Trucy or a favor for someone? Or case clean up. Something like that.
Yeah. If he's studying at the office, then Apollo could walk in on him!
Also do you have any preference of which we start with?
