making my way downtown
[The big issue here isn't getting fired. No, Spy will be fine for now, considering all that he's saved. Losing a resource as powerful as RED and Mann Co in general is a blow indeed, but Spy can get by. Right now, he's more concerned about living and making sure none of his loose ends catch up to him.
Most of the things he's taking back with him are either essential or expensive. The weapon magazines and catalogues sent by RED are still sitting in his old quarters, along with some leisure books and even some pieces of his old uniform. The suit has always been a part of his look, so he keeps some of it; they make for some decent padding for the wine stored in the trunk of his car.
With his tie slung around his neck and his jacket over his arm, Spy makes a mental checklist of all he needs. His life is pretty much stowed away in his wallet: bank cards, multiple IDs, cash, miniature cloaking device, plane tickets... He pats his pants pocket for the only thing that doesn't fit in his wallet: his passport. Not that he'll need it for the flight, but it's good to have these things just in case.
A tiny part of his brain nags at him, urging him to feel sentimental about leaving his workplace of over four years. But to hell with that - god knows this won't be the last he's seen of them.
When Scout hobbles up to his car, a mess of stupidity and arm casts, Spy is tempted to slam the door in his face and make him eat his dust trail. But, of course, the little mongrel has to pull the mother card and all of a sudden Spy feels responsible.]
I have a jet leaving in fifty minutes. You've got twenty. Get in the car.

Hey...
[ He settles back down somewhat, almost guiltily. ]
Sleep ok?
no subject
Oh, oui. Quite warm and cozy. And you?
[The only thing that ruins his calm demeanor is a stray shiver that rolls through his body. He doesn't do too well coping with lost heat, apparently.]
no subject
Not bad, I guess.
[ Like a goddamn log.
He hesitates, feeling more than seeing the other man shiver, before reaching for his waist once more and, after another moment, pulling to roll Spy chest to chest with him. ]
1/2

I'm-- glad to 'ear it.
no subject
When's the doc supposed to get that splint off you anyway?
no subject
[It's not so urgent when he's in bed and more comfortable than he's ever been since they arrived. The hand on Scout's shoulder splays out before creeping up to his neck, seeking out the warmth there.]
Comfortable, chéri?
no subject
Yeah, 'fore ya put that icecube on my neck.
[ He sneaks his free hand up, making to tap the tip of Spy's nose. ]
Does it hurt?
[ Maybe not the best way to do that, Scout. Granted, he's being pretty gentle about it. ]
no subject
Not terribly, but I doubt a punch to t'e face would be much fun.
[The hand on Scout's neck sweeps up until his thumb brushes the line of his jaw.]
'Ow's t'is? Did it bruise, in t'e end?
no subject
[ His eyes narrow a little with the ache that results from the touch. ]
Feels like it. You got a pretty mean little hook, ya bastard.
no subject
[The word "bitching" comes out a little strange from his mouth, but it fits the situation, in his opinion.
To compensate the agitation of the sore spot, Spy dips his hand back down, rubbing the column of Scout's throat with his thumb just as he did yesterday, nails and all.]
Being able to fight comes in t'e job description, don't you t'ink?
no subject
Yeah, but I think the only guys who might be worse at it than you on the team's Medic and Sniper. Maybe Pyro.
[ He's lying, of course, but trying to fluff Spy up a little is one of his favorite pastimes. Nevermind the touch on his neck feels kind of good, if also a little strange. It's a sensitive area. ]
no subject
[He can tell Scout is saying that for the sake of saying it. His confidence in his own abilities is the only thing keeping him from getting annoyed at the jab.
With some fidgeting, he snakes his other hand up to join the one on Scout's neck. This hand is less cold, thanks to the fact that it spent some time wedged under their bodies, but it's there to leech more heat nonetheless.]
Funny 'ow you've lumped all t'e support roles toget'er.
no subject
[ It's a powerful position, having your hands on someone's throat. Maybe it's because Spy's yet to try strangling him that he let the first one be there, though he tucks his chin somewhat it. He catches the second one at the wrist, making to guide it to his armpit instead. He figures that's the only place you can get a good temperature outside of sticking a thermometer in yourself, that's gotta be the warmest place it can be. ]
That's true, I don't think I ever saw Engie get into a fist fight, so you might be better than him too. They're support fer a reason.
no subject
[It's sort of a low blow, especially considering the fact that Engie's not even here to defend himself. But Spy never claims to be a fair man. Well, not often, anyway.
Another wry smile stretches Spy's mouth as his hand gets relocated. That's fine, though he does wiggle his fingers a bit, just to test the waters.]
no subject
I guess 'everything's bigger in Texas' stopped at him, huh?
[ Careful there, Spy, that's a tickle spot. The way his legs twitch suggest as much, though the fact he's already chuckling is probably a good cover. ]
no subject
Well, maybe just 'eight wise.
[Dick jokes never get old.
But that twitch? Spy felt that. A grin slowly spreads across his face as he wiggles his fingers some more, digging a little more this time.]
no subject
[ Scout can see it, he guesses, although he doesn't have long to contemplate it because Spy is tickling him. Scout jerks this time, choking on a snort as he wriggles against the other. He slaps the other's shoulder and tries to grab that hand. ]
No!
[ It's hard to sound convincing, though, when you're fighting back laughter. ]
no subject
Ticklish, hmm? Très mignon.
no subject
In the meantime Scout bucks and writhes against Spy, unable to help either the spasms or the practical keens of laughter that are forcing their way out of his lungs. ]
Spy! Khhhkkhh stop! Stop!
[ He is trying to climb the other man at this point, rolling on top of him to try and get away. ]
no subject
Ah, ah, ah, what's t'e magic word?
[Pushing back now, hoping to pin Scout with his weight while continuing his assault with both hands.]
no subject
Imputum fulmiffffphahaha!
[ He can barely breathe, much less remember an incantation from forever ago. He grabs at Spy's elbows, trying to push them back and get those clever hands off of his skin. He's pretty desperate for relief at this point, just not enough to call uncle yet. The lack of oxygen going to his brain right now is probably what spurs him to lean up and try to kiss the older man. ]
that tentaspy reference.....
This isn't their usual game of chicken, nor is it a situation fueled by their animosity. But considering they had just spent the night in bed together, as well as the morning so far, Spy shouldn't be surprised.
But he is, somehow. There's an instant where he tenses, uncertain, before he dips his head lower to kiss back, slow and hesitant.]
teehee
He has to gasp around the other man's mouth, throat still full of the ragged edges of laughter, but he does what he can, meeting almost every touch of Spy's lips with his own. He's got a head full of chemicals that make him feel thankful for once to already be laying down, and even happy with what he's doing. His hands find Spy's slim hips, sliding up his sides and back as the sounds in his throat dissolve into a hum of a groan. ]
no subject
But with Scout seeming to enjoy the contact, maybe he shouldn't be so
guiltyconfused. The hands on his body draw him lower, closer to the one below, as he continues to press firm lips to Scout's. He's mindful of the remnants from their earlier fight, though he opens his mouth to lick at Scout's bottom lip.]I have no good icon for making out
me neither. if i had icon space i would fix that but alas
15 is not enough
a true struggle
I've seen people just cheat and post an extra in the comments as an image
yeah me too but personally i don't think it looks good
nope. might as well pay up or make due.
these options arent much fun ):
lol I remember a time when I thought I only needed one or didn't use any
playing characters with masks is the worst for icons because what is an expression
I think you mean the best because one expression is all expressions
it's bad when you play against a character who also has a mask but has more icons :')
that's also true for anyone playing a character and then seeing someone else with better icons
steal them and avoid contac with the player :")))) jk jk
kjhljdsf I've done it, but credited, I think
lbr i'm pretty sure most people have done it
I don't doubt it hgh
